The MS9544 Voyager PDF is a high-speed linear laser scanner capable of decoding two-dimensional barcodes including PDF417, PDF417 truncated, and RSS composite. VoyagerPDF is targeted to satisfy POS applications requiring moderate-volume scanning of two-dimensional symbologies such as pharmacy applications and driver's license verification.

Both models decode the following: 1D, PDF417, PDF417 truncated, micro PDF, macro PDF and RSS-14 composite bar codes. In addition to automatic activation, VoyagerPDF MS9544 also comes equipped with Metrologic patented CodeGate technology which completes data transmission with the push of a single button.
